Tired of skiing? Want something that is refreshingly different? Try a tour that offers amazing mountain scenery; hiking to a majestic view; sightseeing; perhaps sledding near the Town Center; looking for local wildlife; and learning about our local history, native American culture, geology, dinosaurs and MOR! Big Sky Mountain GOAT Tours offers a tour that can be tailored to the weather and guest desires. This is a 6- to 7-hour tour that includes visiting the Museum of the Rockies (MOR) in Bozeman. MOR tickets are separate and vary from $12 for children to $20 for adults, plus $4 for the planetarium show. On our way to and from Bozeman, we will search for wildlife such as bald eagles, coyotes, elk, deer, and possibly bison while gazing at the awe inspiring backdrop that the Spanish Peaks and Gallatin Ranges provide. We can make time for guest shopping or a lunch stop in the historic district Bozeman. The tour includes an assortment of snacks, hiking poles, binoculars, a spotting scope, warm blankets, and a day of exploration. We do not travel inside Yellowstone National Park on this tour. We will be in the Yellowstone Ecosystem on a portion of our way to Bozeman. This tour only leaves from Big Sky and we will pick you up and drop your group off at your accommodations. The tour preferably departs Big Sky between 8 and 9:30am. Full day tour pricing: 1-4 guests $675 5-6 guests $775 7-8 guests $875 An additional $80 is added for round trip pick up and drop off if leaving from the Montage, YC, or Moonlight Basin (near the Lake Lodge or on the Madison River side of MLB). The price does not include lunch, tax, or gratuity. We accept cash gratuities and are grateful for all tips. If you enjoyed your tour, please consider a 15 to 18% gratuity as this helps us live in this expensive area. Big Sky Resort tax (4%) and processing fees (~3.1%) are charged at check out. Thank you. All ages are welcome! Please note, all children under 60lbs need a car seat.
Cancellation Policy
We make a commitment to our guests, so when you book a private tour or a private shuttle our commitment is to you. Please keep in mind that we are a single-owner operator, so when we book a private shuttle or a private tour, we do not overbook with other guests, and as result, turn away potential business especially around holidays and during the summer. If you are not committed to the price or date, then please do not book. Therefore, our cancellation policy is strict. To Cancel a booking, please contact us at least three weeks in advance of your scheduled tour or shuttle to receive a refund minus a $50 booking fee. Cancellations less than three weeks in advance will receive a 50% refund minus the credit card processing fee. Cancellations less than 72 hours from scheduled tour are not eligible for a refund. If you need to change your tour or shuttle date, please contact us at least three weeks in advance to check for availability. The full amount of the tour or shuttle is due when booking. Please note that online payments include a 4% Big Sky Resort Tax and a 3.1% processing fee. All refunds will not include the amount used as a service charge for credit card processing. Thank you.
