Scott is a certified Yellowstone National Park guide, de-facto geologist, and entertainer. During the past 22 years, he has learned about geology and landscapes while spending time on road trips discovering new adventures with his wife, Karen. Sometimes he enjoys a glass of wine while learning about a new landscape that they have visited. Together, they give large group tours suitable to all ages, which are a lot of fun.
Scott finds great joy in guiding guests to new adventures while exploring the volcanic caldera complex, its integrated geothermal plumbing system and the associated ecosystem that grows from the volcanic landscapes. In his spare time, he loves hiking, swimming, and finding a new wine to pair with an amazing meal he created. His professional career includes managing and growing new restaurants and a regional manager for a nationwide business that runs various concessions at most airports, ski resorts, and amusement parks. His depth of experience and ability to entertain and talk to guests of all ages is what makes him a great guide. Scott truly loves guiding in Yellowstone.
