Hiking Around Yellowstone & Big Sky

Come explore Big Sky and Yellowstone by getting outside for a local hike! Discover the geology and wildlife that make this area unique! We offer a variety of day hikes around Big Sky that are about 2 hours in length and less strenuous to hikes that are up to 4 to 5 hours in length that are local or inside Yellowstone National Park. All of these hikes will vary in length and are based on the overall speed and fitness of the group. We stop and enjoy the scenery and talk about the geology, wildflowers, and look for wildlife. All hikes include transportation to and from lodging and is included in the timeframe. All post-hike refreshments include bottled water and snacks. Binoculars, and several sets of walking poles are also included on each trip. The guide will carry bear spray, water, binoculars, and a first aid kit. We offer local hikes and hikes that are located in the northwest corner of Yellowstone National Park and a short drive to get there. A park pass is not necessary. The shorter hikes that we guide are beginner hikes that are 1 to 2 hours in length to longer and vary in stamina and strength based on the incline. Please call us to arrange for a hike. Hikes Offered: Beginner; about 2 to 2.5 miles (with Pick Up and Drop Off 3 hours) Intermediate; 4 to 8 miles (4 to 5 hours w/PU and DO) Advanced due to incline, 6 miles 4 to 5 hours w/PU and DO) All hikes offered are at altitudes of greater than 6000 feet; therefore, are not recommended for folks who are not in hiking shape or have a heart condition. Although we offer short hikes based on the group's fitness level. To Book, choose a local short hike (2 miles) or a local longer hike (4 t0 8 miles) and let us know how many people in your group such as 1-2 guests or up to 11 guests. For larger groups up to 14 guests is ($700) for a short hike. All choices are on a drop down menu and pricing is based on time and number of guests. We also offer step-on hiking tours for large groups that have their own bus or van transportation. We can lead hikes in Yellowstone that are remote day hikes or near famous features. Additionally, we offer Yellowstone hikes to Grand Prismatic and Fairy Falls or a hike to Old Faithful from Biscuit Basin. These hikes start at $799 for 1-4 guests and $999 for 5-6 guests (7 to 8 hours). Local Short hikes start at $250 for 1 to 2 guests, while longer hikes are $400 for 1 to 2 guests. Included are hiking poles, snacks, and water. Add more people the price is lower per person.
