Service Description

This is a unique trip offered in the winter and summer to showcase the spirit of southwest Montana and Big Sky. We will explore exciting and dynamic geological areas, breathtaking views, view wildlife, walk around historical mining towns, and stop at a small hot spring. This tour is great during Yellowstone's shoulder seasons and winter when the main entrance to the Yellowstone National Park is only open to on-snow travel. However, the tour includes part of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem area. We can include snowshoeing, hiking, site seeing old towns, visiting state parks, and even visiting hot springs. Our final leg back to Big Sky will offer a chance to see wildlife away from major highways and roads. We can tailor this tour to what you want to explore. Extreme weather conditions will dictate where we can go, especially in the winter. Our Mercedes Sprinter van seats 1 to 8 guests. All tours are private and include the use of binoculars, spotting scope, maps, teaching tools, and picnic blankets. Snacks provided include fruit, nuts, granola bars, soda, and water. Guests must provide their own meals. Please pack a lightweight jacket, comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and enthusiasm. Hot spring fees or state park fees are extra and purchased by guest. All ages are welcome. Children under 60 lbs must have a child seat. To reserve a date for a tour, the tour price for 1 to 4 people ($699) is required when booking. Please note that a 4% Resort Tax in addition to a 3.1% processing fee is charged ($749). It is $40 per person beyond the 4 person booking; however, the 8th person is no charge.
