You will learn the basics about geysers and hot spring systems and the interconnectedness of the plumbing system under the Yellowstone caldera complex. We also focus on wildlife and are well-read on the different types of large mammal species in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. However, you may also get a fun Far Sided (Gary Larson) version of wildlife we are witnessing as there is something always fun around the corner.. We offer a myriad of day and half-day tours, and multi-day tours. We are offering special fall discounted Yellowstone tour rates at 15% for any tour booked after September 15th. This discount does not apply to Step-on tours. Please call us or email us if you are interested in a fall tour. We will create a special discount for you. If you are a veteran of the United States military, we will offer a 15% discount. This is your main tour guide, Karen. I am a Professional Geologist and certified park guide. All throughout my youth I gave friends, fellow geologists, and family members tours around Yellowstone and throughout the western United States. I have focused most of my career in Hydrogeology and hydrology related projects. Additionally, I have had the opportunity to teach earth science and mathematics at the high school levels while coaching several different sports like swimming! My goal was to always to engage my students to have faith in themselves while inspiring them to learn. I am a former competitive swimmer and often get my gills wet in order to stay in shape by swimming my favorite strokes. Hiking and mountain biking are an additional fun time spent and an outdoor passion.
