Take the Half Day Tour from Big Sky, Montana and learn about the unique and diverse geological and ecological features and landscapes in the Yellowstone Super Volcano area from a Professional Geologist! If you have younger kiddos, this tour will be ideal. This tour also has the option of leaving later in the day - just request a later tour time. We pick up in Big Sky or West Yellowstone only. Pick up in Big Sky base price is ($695, includes tax) Pick up in West Yellowstone the base price is ($725, includes tax) due to 2-hr travel time to/from Big Sky. You can always meet us in Big Sky. We still offer the most affordable tours in Big Sky and West Yellowstone. On this tour, we discover the Yellowstone caldera and the integrated dynamic thermal plumbing system that provide a truly unique setting. We will visit Old Faithful and other geysers and colorful spring systems that are easy walking distances on board walks and walking paths. This tour is a quicker approach to touring Yellowstone National Park if you don't have a lot of time - just sit back and relax and let us take care of the details! From Big Sky, the tour includes the van and guide for a 6+ hour adventure in Yellowstone. The tour will take place on our Mercedes Sprinter van, which seats 1 to 8 guests. All tours are private and include the use of binoculars, spotting scope, maps, and teaching tools. Snacks provided include a variety of fruit, nuts, granola bars, soda, and water. Guests must provide their own meals. Please pack a lightweight jacket, comfortable walking shoes, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and child-like enthusiasm. All park entrance fees and gratuities are extra. To reserve a tour date, the tour price leaving from Big Sky is $649 for 1 to 4 people is required when booking. Big Sky tour pricing beyond 4 guests is $50 each for the 5th and 6th guests, while it is $30 for the 7th & 8th guests. Please note the final payment includes a 4% tax in addition to a 3.1% website processing fee ($695 for a family of 4) . If you enjoyed the tour (service), please tip your guide. We use Venmo or cash for gratuities. If you have one, don't forget to bring your National Park Pass. All ages are welcome. Children under 60 lbs must have a child seat. 3% of all proceeds go back to Yellowstone National Park to help implement the Commercial Use Authorization programs and their associated education programs.

Cancelation Policy

To Cancel or Reschedule please contact us at least two weeks in advance of your scheduled tour to receive a full refund. Cancellations less than two weeks in advance will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations less than 48 hours from scheduled tour are not eligible for a refund. If you need to change your tour date, please contact us at least two weeks in advance to check for availability. The full amount of the tour and shuttle is due when booking. Please note that online payments include a 4% Big Sky Resort Tax and a 3% processing fee. All refunds will include a 3% service charge for credit card processing. Thank you.
